Our U13 team went to the Blackpool Cup at the weekend Our U 13 team participated in the Blackpool Cup over the Sunny Easter bank holiday weekend and gave a great account of themselves against some very stiff competition from 23 other teams from England , Scotland, Wales and Ireland finishing in 3rd place in the shield competition after a dramatic penalty shootout against Kildare town!! The Blackpool Cup is a professionally run tournament and no doubt that we played against future stars of the premiership so to do as well as we did is a fantastic achievement and each and everyone of them and parents should be extremely proud of their achievement. They also got to experience the Blackpool highlights of the pleasure beach roller coaster park, the Waterpark and a high end bowling experience that would have to be seen to be believed!!! and I think is safe to say that the parents also enjoyed it too...
